The Cardinals will begin play this week as they open their 41st season. Canfield has put together a winning percentage of 69.9% since 1973. Since returning to be classified under Division II, the Cards have won two Struthers’ District crowns since 2010.

Last year; however, Canfield was ousted in the Sectional Final by Niles (1-0). The Red Birds won 9 of their last 11 games in 2013 after beginning 4-8.

Two-year letter winner Edmond Pilolli has signed his National Letter-of-Intent to play baseball next year at Ashland University.

Canfield will once again head to South Carolina and the beautiful weather in Myrtle Beach during spring break on April 14 to participate in the Mingo Bay Classic against teams from South Carolina (St. James), West Virginia (Jefferson) and Virginia (South Lakes).
