HazMat responds to Hubbard gas leak

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) — Trumbull County HazMat crews were called to the Sunoco gas station on Route 62 in Hubbard about 3 p.m. Monday.

A leak was discovered near one of the station’s pumps.  It is believed the pump malfunctioned, leaking about 180 gallons of gas into a nearby storm drain.

Crews contained the spill and the pump has been shut off until it gets repaired.
