YSU’s Weber to transfer

The YSU Men’s basketball team has suffered a big blow. The Indianapolis Star reports that Sophomore Ryan Weber has been granted his release and will seek a transfer.

Weber was the Penguins’ second-leading scorer last season, averaging 12.2 points per game. He was also the team’s leading three-point shooter, connecting on 41.7 percent of his attempts.

Representatives from Youngstown State say they have no comment.
