WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — A former paralegal for the city of Warren who prosecutors said was caught high on heroin at work has been indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury.

Jason Burns was indicted on charges of heroin possession and aggravated possession of drugs, which are both felonies. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of drug possession.

Burns resigned from his position with the city last month. Police found two crack pipes, a syringe and heroin on Burns while he was at work in December.
