Church gears up for Family Fun Day

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A group of volunteers is raising money to help put on an annual event.

Volunteers at the Seventh Day Adventist Church were selling baked goods Sunday in an effort to raise money for their Family Fun Day this summer.

Organizers say they’re planning a few more fundraisers such as a car wash and rummage sale before the big event.

“Family Fun Day is going to feature our praise team Between Divides. We will have a free concert, and we will also have lots of food, drinks, some games set up, game booths, and just overall a really great time,” said organizer Melinda Weiss.

Family fun day is scheduled for Aug. 3 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on North Road in Warren.
