Farm to You starting pilot program at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A new program taking hold at Youngstown State University is providing healthy eating and local lifestyles all in one.

Entering its seventh year overall, Farm to You is starting a pilot program at YSU. The program is essentially a way to provide local fresh grown produce from farmers within a 30-mile radius of Youngstown and Warren.

Farm to You provides members with access to local fresh foods at a one-stop pickup location.

“The goal of this is to promote the people being involved in the community and promoting the whole local foods,” said Sam Anderson of Farm to You.
