Knight leads Poland past Hubbard

Poland outlasted Hubbard 3-1 in a pitcher’s duel Tuesday night at Cene Park.

Andrew Knight (1-0)  tossed a complete game shutout for the Bulldogs.  He struck out a total of seven batters on the night.

Chase Knodle doubled and scored a run in the win for Poland.  Dom Lipari finished with a single and a walk.

Hubbard’s Alex Greathouse tallied a pair of singles and a walk in the loss.  Tyler Taafe added two singles for the Eagles.

Poland improves to 2-1 overall, and 1-0 in league play.
