Ham truck rollover slows traffic in Green Township

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Police spent most of the overnight hours on the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer on U.S. Route 62 in Green Township, near Salem.

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. near Calla Road. The truck was hauling a load of hams.

Debris littered the roadway and traffic was slow-moving in the area for most of the morning because police had both lanes shut down for about an hour to clear up diesel fuel that spilled from the truck. The scene was cleared about 8:30 a.m.

There were no injuries, according to the Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
