WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Normally when you think of Boy Scouts, you don’t think of pasta. But that is exactly what you would have found Sunday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren.
Troop 101’s 36th annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser was held Sunday at the church.
The event is a major source of income for the scouts and helps the troop pay for its many activities. Activities that to Eagle Scout Sebastian Szewcyzk, are essential for both himself and the younger scouts in his charge.
“I try to bring that discipline to them because discipline is a very, very great thing to have,” said Szewcyzk. “I try to guide them to develop that discipline to help them in the future.”
Troop 101 has graduated 134 Eagle Scouts since it was established in 1975.
