Lowellville rallies past Rootstown

Lowellville rallied from a 6-run first inning deficit for a 12-11 win over Rootstown Monday.

Alec Osman tied the game with a 2-run single in the 7th inning. On the same play, Phil Alfano scored the game-winner on an error to seal the victory.

Osman went 3-5 and drove in five runs for the Rockets in the win.

Mike Kacir went 2-3 with 2 RBI, while Vince Hyner also tallied a pair of hits and scored twice. Alfano was 2-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Lowellville improves to 3-4 on the season.
