Newspaper holds annual recycling drive

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Tribune Chronicle newspaper in Warren is doing its part to help Mother Earth on this Earth Day.

For the 10th straight year, the newspaper is holding a recycling drive in front of its building at Franklin Street and Pine Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Items being accepted include books, magazines, newspapers, telephone books and other paper items. A shredding company is on hand to destroy sensitive documents.

“It’s very important that we get everything in here, recycle it and help save the Earth. If we can encourage everybody to recycle and go green, it helps us out,” said Tribune Chronicle circulation director Tim Snyder.
