The Raiders fell to Hickory last night, 10-9. Reynolds has been involved in seven match ups which have resulted in a decision by three runs or less (3-4).

Sophomore Jacob Reimold has been one of the most consistent hitters in all of Western Pennsylvania. Number 14 has compiled a .457 batting average (16-35) with 2 homers and 8 RBIs. He began the season by hitting a .615 average (8-13) through his first four contests. He has picked up his average again as of late by belting a .545 (6-11) clip during his last three games. Seniors Jack Mahlon and Collin Yake have accumulated a .364 and .333 average so far. Mahlon ranks second on the team with 12 base hits and 9 RBIs. Yake leads the Raiders with 6 extra base hits (1 HR, 5 2Bs) and 11 RBIs.

Junior hurler Jacob Leipheimer has been strong off the mound in his 4 appearances. He has registered a 1.53 ERA in 18 1/3 innings of work while taking a 2-0 mark.

Tomorrow, Reynolds will travel to New Wilmington to take on the Greyhounds (4-2) at 4:15 PM followed by another road trip on Saturday against Fort LeBoeuf (3-3). Reynolds is 2-3 when playing away from home this season.
