Blaze consumes house on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Investigators in Youngstown are looking into the cause of a fire at a vacant house on the city’s north side.

Crews were called to the empty house on Grant Street just after midnight Thursday.

The fire did not threaten any nearby homes, so firefighters let it burn. The flames lit up the skyline and could be seen for miles.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
