Woman arrested after assaulting two bail bondsmen

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown woman is in the Mahoning County Jail on claims she assaulted two bail bondsmen trying to bring her in on outstanding warrants.

According to police, Candice Bacher, 30, of Stewart Avenue, tried to run the bondsman over with her car Friday morning. They were not injured, but she drove away and was later arrested at the police station after her car was found in Liberty.

Bacher had arrest warrants for possessing drug paraphernalia, loud music and a traffic violation; all misdemeanors.

The assault charge is a felony.

She was not given bond.
