8 injured after truck, school bus collide in Pa.

YEADON, Pa. (AP) – Eleven people, including eight schoolchildren, have been injured in a southeastern Pennsylvania school bus crash.

It happened in Yeadon, Delaware County, at around 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Yeadon police Chief Donald Molineux said a pickup truck crashed into the right side of a William Penn School District bus that was crossing at an intersection.

The eight children on the bus, the bus driver, and the driver and passenger from the pickup truck were all transported to a hospital for treatment.

Molineux said their injuries appeared to be minor.

The accident remains under investigation.
