College to close on exam day, threats found in bathroom

UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – A community college in Lawrence is closing for the first day of final exams after written threats were found in the school.

School officials at Butler County Community College in Union Township said they found the threats written in a men’s bathroom saying something was going the happen Tuesday, May 6.

Students are instructed to contact their professors about where and when to take scheduled exams on that day.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation advised the school to increase security or close for the day.
