Tressel makes his case at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Former Youngstown State University and Ohio State University head football coach Jim Tressel addressed university officials and members of the public Monday during an open forum as part of the interview process for university president.

Tressel was the first of three candidates to make his case for the position. He is currently vice president for student success at the University of Akron, where he also is one of three finalists for the president’s post there. He was interviewed by Akron officials last week.

On Tuesday, Gary Miller will hold an open forum and on Wednesday, it will be Mary Cullinan.
