Bello, Girard baseball oust LaBrae

The Girard baseball team scored five runs in the top of the 6th inning, and defeated LaBrae, 9-5 Tuesday at Eastwood Field.

Christian Bello pitched a complete game, giving up just 4 hits, with 4 strikeouts, and 6 walks. Eight different Indians registered a hit, led by Evan Standohar and Kyle Harris with two apiece.

LaBrae (6-5, 5-4) was led by Peyton Aldridge, who threw 5 strikeouts, and allowed 7 hits, with one earned through 5.2 innings. Aldridge also recorded three hits with a double and 2 RBI.

Girard improves to 14-1 on the season and 8-0 in the All American Conference.
