Police address threats against Niles mayor

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) —  Police in Niles are looking for the stepson of Niles Mayor Ralph Infante after prosecutors said he threatened several family members.

Edward Kapturasky Jr., 38, of Columbus, is facing charges after his sister filed a complaint Friday in Niles Municipal Court stating her brother sent a threatening text message.

Niles police posted an officer outside of Infante’s office in Niles City Hall and outside his home over the weekend.

Anyone who knows Kapturasky’s whereabouts is asked to contact Niles police.
