Women charged with selling drugs by school

Women charged with selling drugs by a school in Niles, Ohio.

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – A Trumbull County grand jury last week secretly indicted 14 people. Five of those were women picked up for allegedly selling drugs near St. Stephen Elementary School in Niles.

Christina Herbert, Ashley Six, Tracey Vestal, Kathryn Scott and Kathryn Long were picked up as part of an investigation by the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force. All the women are from the Niles and Mineral Ridge area.

Court documents say the women were selling Suboxone, Hydrocodone, Alprazolam and Oxycodone between Nov. 15, 2013 and Jan.16, 2014 near the school.

Randy Kasiewicsz, of Akron also was secretly indicted on drug trafficking charges. However, prosecutors could not confirm his connection to the five women at this time.

All of the suspects are being held in the Trumbull County Jail.
