A look back: Tressel’s memories of Youngstown

Jim Tressel sat down with WKBN Sports Director Ryan Allison to discuss Youngstown while he was coaching Ohio State.

“You miss some of the neat things you had to do, going down to the MVR and having a Cajun chicken sandwich or just driving through Mill Creek Park. Every once in a while, I used to drive to work that way and marvel at the beauty at God’s creation. And the people, you miss so many of the people who you’ve known for years and years and that helped you along the way, and if it weren’t for them, you probably wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what you did. That’s, to me, what you miss the most,” Tressel said.
