Dr. Shayesteh: The Dirty Dozen

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Dr. Shayesteh said many fruits and vegetables found in the produce aisle of the local grocery store have many dangerous pesticides still on them.

He describes the process for washing off these pesticides and the possible negative effects they have on a person’s health, especially children, whose immune systems are not fully developed.

Dr. Shayesteh said the worst offender is apples.
