The stepson of the Niles mayor turns himself in


WARREN (WKBN) — The stepson of Niles Mayor Ralph Infante is in the Trumbull County Jail after turning himself in to authorities in Columbus on Thursday.

Edward Kapturasky Jr., 38, of Columbus, is accused of threatening several family members last week.

His sister filed a complaint in Niles Municipal Court stating her brother sent a threatening text message.

As a precaution, Niles police posted an officer outside Infante’s office at Niles City Hall and outside his home.

Kapturasky is facing a charge of telecommunications harassment.
He is due in Niles Municipal Court next week.
