MCBDD Superintendent search down to six

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The search for a new Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent is down to six candidates, MCBDD Board President Jack Gruber said Friday.

The six candidates are Kristi Earle, Michael Crogan, Kristine Hodge, Charles Frobose, George Gabriel, and Bill Whitacre.

Gruber said the board has already interviewed Earle, Crogan and Hodge and is waiting to interview Frobose, Gabriel and Whitacre. Gruber is not sure when the board will make a final decision.

The deadline for the applications was April 30. In total, 15 people applied for the position.

  • James Krumer, Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent
  • Kristi Earle, Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities Team Leader/Facility Manager
