Dunkin Donuts coming to Struthers

STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) — A ceremonial groundbreaking took place for the first Struthers Dunkin Donuts Tuesday morning at the corner of Youngstown-Poland Road and Midlothian Boulevard.

The new location will offer sit-down and drive-through service. It is part of a 1.8 million dollar investment by the owner of Sami Quick Stop. The convenience store will also be renovated and expanded to include a gas station. The project will bring in 50 new jobs to the area.

Sami F. Rafidi Sr. of R.S.R Property Group, LLC looks forward to the new venture.

“We’ve been 30 years here in the city of Struthers. We really appreciate all the business we’ve had,” said Rafidi “We’re teaming up with Dunkin Donuts to expand our retail facility with Dunkin. we’re going to expand it with a new gasoline operation and a double drive-thru.”

“It’s huge for the city as far as the number of employees they’re gonna bring in as well. Not only that, they’re going to dress up the corridor here.” Stocker said. “We’re going to have a restaurant that people have been wanting for years here in Struthers.”

The Dunkin Donuts in Struthers is expected to open this fall.
