Another board member leaving port authority

VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – New details are emerging with the problems at the Western Reserve Port Authority.

Board member Scott Lynn submitted his resignation effective May 21.

Lynn has held the position on the board for nearly 10 years.

Trumbull County Commissioner Paul Heltzel said Lynn is leaving because of friction between the members of the board.

Lynn is the second board member to resign in the last month. Richard Schiraldi resigned April 25.

Last week, Mahoning and Trumbull County commissioners said are contemplating dissolving the port authority to remedy the discord among board members.
