Sharon’s Torr chose OWU

Four-year letter winner, Mallory Torr, will play basketball next winter at Ohio Wesleyan University. Torr earned first-team All-Region honors this past season for the Sharon Lady Tigers.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the 2013-14 season with an 18-9 mark. The Battling Lady Bishops saw an increase of 10 wins from the previous year. They ended the regular season with a victory over #1 DePauw which ended their 58-game win streak. OWU is coached by Stacey Ungashick Lobdell. “We are so excited about Mallory Torr joining us at OWU,” said coach Ungashick Lobdell. “Not only her basketball knowledge skills at the guard position, her tremendous passion to compete but her integrity as a person will be an outstanding addition to our team.”
