Church creates new use for old building

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – It is a great day of unity and worship for the Restoration Christian Fellowship Church. Sunday marked its first service in a new facility.

The new facility is located at 760 Main Avenue, Warren, in the old Rebecca Williams Community Center, which was most recently the United Methodist Center.

Many changes have been made to the building to create the church, and Pastor Joseph E. Walker Jr. and his wife Kimberly Walker could not be more excited.

“We had the opportunity to get his building, and we took advantage of it,” said Walker. “We had to do some restoration to the inside, mainly the gym area, and God has blessed us to turn it into a 320-seat sanctuary.”

Walker encourages new members to attend and wants everyone to know that they are here to help restore and bring hope to people who have no hope.
