Fire destroys all but foundation of Youngstown house

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A fire at a house on Youngstown’s east side Monday morning destroyed everything but the cinder block foundation.

A neighbor spotted the flames around 8 a.m. Monday coming from the vacant house at Josephine and Wardle Avenues.

Fire crews let the house burn, making sure it didn’t spread. There was no immediate word on the cause.
