Mount Union announces 2014 recruits

Entering his second season, head coach Vince Kehres will look to have his Purple Raiders back in championship contention once again this upcoming campaign. Last year, Mount Union finished with a 14-1 mark and a trip to the Stagg Bowl (lost to Wisconsin Whitewater, 52-14). Today, the Raiders announced a list of nine new recruits who have committed to play in Alliance this fall.

Curtis Nixon, WR/Monroe Central High School (Woodsfield, OH)
Jonathan Shelton, OL/Eisenhower High School (Sugar Grove, PA)
Kendric Wilder, DB/Medina High School (Medina, OH)
Dillan Zettwuch, TE/East Lake High School (Palm Harbor, FL)
Matt Zolcak, OL/Mentor High School (Mentor, OH)

Mount Union has accumulated 11 NCAA Division III National Championships since 1993 and has played in each of the last nine Stagg Bowls.
