BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Warren woman drove off with a brand new Chevrolet Cruze on Monday.
Diedre Windom is the winner of a free two-year lease from Sweeney Chevrolet. Windom was one of three finalists who won a key during the “Fuel the Fight, Drive Out Prostate Cancer” car and motorcycle show on Sunday at Boardman High School.
Only one key turned the ignition and Windom was the lucky key holder. Sweeney Chevrolet Owner Douglas Sweeney said that donating the lease is one way they give back to the community.
“We think that the community supported us and we should support the community. If we can make a difference in four or five people that learn more about prostate cancer and make a difference in their health, we think that is a big deal,” Sweeney said.
The weekend’s event was a partnership with the dealership and Humility of Mary Health Partners, all benefiting “Man Up Mahoning Valley,” a program aimed at providing free prostate cancer screenings.
