Phone troubles reported at Yo., Trumbull Co. government offices

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Those waiting to hear back from the Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services Friday may have to wait until next week.

A representative from the department said that phone lines have been down since some time Thursday and did not know when they would be working again.. Workers there can still receive calls but cannot make calls from their office lines.

Century Link is working to restore phone service.

Phone service to city offices in Youngstown has also been interrupted Friday. All departments, including City Hall, the police department, and Clerk of Courts Office, are affected. The 911 emergency system is operational and not impacted by this outage.
