Old electronics go somewhere besides the landfill

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Folks got the chance to dispose of old electronics in a way that’s environmentally friendly.

Hundreds of people turned out to the Covelli Center Saturday to get rid of old and broken computers, monitors, printers, cell phones, stereos, and much more. Hosted by

Youngstown Litter Control and Recycling expected to fill about seven semi’s with electronics. The event was only for folks who live in Mahoning County.
