Youngstown hospital sued over stillborn baby

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Youngstown woman has filed a lawsuit against St. Elizabeth Health Center over her stillborn baby.

Lytanya Wylie filed the paperwork last month. In the lawsuit, she accuses the hospital of disposing of her stillborn infant’s body without her consent, which prevented her from having a proper funeral.

The child was one of a set of twins. The second baby was delivered alive.

Wylie is seeking $25,000 in damages.

St. Elizabeth Health Center officials deny the allegations.
