One injured in rollover accident

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — A 17-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after the Jeep she was a passenger in went off the road and rolled over.

The accident happened around 9:30 a.m.Tuesday on State Route 534 near Schilling Road in Milton Township.

A trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the two teens went off the side of the road for a split second and because the gravel on the berm is so soft, the driver got sucked down into a drainage ditch and rolled the Jeep over, ending up in a nearby field.

Troopers do not believe the driver was speeding. The 17-year-old driver walked away from the crash a little shaken, but did not suffer any injuries.
