YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Libraries are popping up everywhere, but not in a typical fashion.

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is bringing library services to a venue near you.

On Wednesday, they were at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, where they are showcasing the newly designed Sweeny Children’s Gallery.

Museum staff read the famous children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sednak.

Arts and crafts were also part of the fun. And kids were able to check out books and DVDs as part of the mobile library unit.
