Phantoms hold tryout camp

The Youngstown Phantoms are preparing for the upcoming season with a tryout camp this weekend through Sunday at the Ice Zone, located at 360 McClurg Road, Youngstown, OH 44512. The weekend will also feature a pair of all-star games on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. All events are free of charge and open to the public.

This event offers fans a great opportunity to get a look at the players vying to make next year’s team, as well as the returning players from last season’s squad. Among those in attendance will be new Phantoms owner Troy Loney, head coach Anthony Noreen, assistant coach Brad Patterson, as well as 2014 NHL Draft prospect Maxim Letunov (Committed to Boston University), and 2015 NHL Draft prospect and leading scorer from last year, Kyle Connor (Committed to the University of Michigan).

The camp resumes Saturday at 9am, with the first All-Star game set for 7:30 PM. There will be a second All-Star game Sunday at 11am.
