Hubbard’s Hill commits to Ohio State

Columbus, OH (WKBN)- Hubbard junior running back George Hill officially became the first commitment to the Ohio State class of 2016 Saturday. Head Coach Brian Hoffman confirmed that Hill made his decision after visiting the campus in Columbus this weekend.

As a sophomore last season, Hill rushed for nearly 1,200 yards with 15 touchdowns, despite sharing time with now senior Larry Scott, who also has an scholarship offer from Ohio State.

Hill had early offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State and West Virginia, but chose the Buckeyes to continue his football career.
