Roundabout project moving ahead in Boardman

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Out with the traffic light, in with the roundabout.

A construction project in Boardman is moving ahead, as the intersection of Mathews and Sheridan Roads in Boardman will be closed for at least the next month and a half while it gets turned into a roundabout, eliminating the need for a traffic light.

The $700,000 project is being paid for exclusively with federal money and should be done before school resumes.
