WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBN) — Senator Sherrod Brown will oversee a session of the Congressional Executive Commission on China Tuesday focused on food safety regulations that may have contributed to the death of pets in America.

The hearing follows the death of 1,000 dogs being linked to pet treats from China, according to a release from Brown’s office.
