Pavlik pleads to drunk driving

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Former boxing champion Kelly Pavlik has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

Pavlik pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired in Mahoning County Court in Austintown. That charge stems from a December arrest on the Ohio Turnpike.

He was ordered to pay a $650 fine and faces a 90-day suspended jail sentence. He will take a driver’s education course and is on probation for 12 months.
