YSU set to play West Virginia in 2016


Youngstown, OH (WKBN)- The Youngstown State football team will play its first contest with West Virginia on Sept. 10, 2016, at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, both schools announced on Friday.

The contest will be the Penguins’ first-ever matchup with a program from Big 12 Conference. It will also be the Guins’ first football game in the state of West Virginia since playing at Marshall in November 2001.

YSU opens the 2014 campaign at Illinois on August 30. The time for the contest is yet to be determined.
