Tough Man competition takes on Youngstown

Youngstown fire

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Folks put their money — and muscle — where their mouths are today in downtown Youngstown.

The reason: a tough man competition to raise money that will go towards fallen firefighters.

There were many challenges for participants to face.

All that was needed was a donation of any size, to give any or all challenges a go.

“We’ve got a quick course set up, keg carry, firetruck pull, can’t get any better than that. got a Keiser sled and if you don’t know what that is it’s pretty brutal. Tire flips, so if you’re looking for something to do today come down, quick donation, give it a go and help a good cause,” said Jillian Blair, Rust Belt Brewing Co.

The event is sponsored by Rust Belt Brewing company and was held on Commerce

This is the first time the event was held, and the hopes are high to make it an annual occurrence.
