NEWTON FALLS, Ohio (WKBN) —  Newton Falls hosted its 17th annual motorcycle show on Sunday.

The event has grown over the years and organizers said that only 35 bikes were a part of the first one, but this year saw a couple thousand lining the streets tonight.

Stubby, who helps put the event together, said that even though planning the event is a lot of work, he enjoys it.

“We raise money for the fireworks everything here today is donated to Newton Falls Fourth of July Committee for the fireworks. It is a community project,” explained Stubby.

This year’s firework display is set for the Fourth of July at the city park on East Quarry Street beginning at 10 p.m.
