HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — A garbage truck driver is lucky to be alive after hitting a steel beam Wednesday afternoon.
An Allied Waste truck got stuck underneath a bridge trestle on Everett and Wick Campbell roads in Hubbard Township. The bridge is on the main line for both Norfolk Southern and CSX railroads.
The road reopened Thursday, but the bridge for the rail line will need repaired.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
