Driver avoids deer, hits gravestones in Beaver Twp.

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — An acting member of the Beaver Township Fire Department swerved to miss a deer while responding to a call early Monday morning, running off the road and into a cemetery.

The driver will not be cited, according to authorities, and was not injured. The car struck several headstones at the Paradise Cemetery on New Buffalo Road.

Beaver Township will be responsible for the cost of the repairs, since the accident occurred while the driver was responding to a call for the fire department.
