Celebrate Poland continues

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – People walked, talked and chalked up the streets in Poland Saturday to celebrate the great town.

Celebrate Poland was formed by the Poland Village Business Association.

People are encouraged to walk the streets of Poland and go from business to business receiving free items.

Some of these items included cookies, pencils, lemonade, and book discounts.

Walking and enjoying the scenery isn’t the only thing people were able to do.

Chalk art, craft shows and a Civil War re-enactment were part of the fun. A cornhole tournament was set for Saturday afternoon.

This year’s Celebrate Poland is one of the biggest turnouts organizers have seen.

The celebration wraps up Saturday night with fireworks scheduled for 10 p.m.
