Man struck by train, killed in Leetonia

LEETONIA, Ohio (WKBN) – Police here are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a train early Saturday.

Police Chief John Soldano confirmed to WKBN 27 First News that the man was struck about 12:30 a.m. while walking along the Norfolk Southern train that runs through the village.

Soldano said police are still investigating and aren’t releasing the man’s name at this time.
