Austintown couple charged after hitting police car

NORTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – An Austintown man and woman face charges after a vehicle they were in rolled into a Pennsylvania State Police cruiser on Wednesday.

According to police, Allen J. Collet, 26, and Jessica Lynn Wolfe, 24, were stopped about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Hummer H3 in the travel lane of state Route 551 in North Beaver Township.

Collet, who was driving, then passed out. When troopers tried to secure the vehicle, it slipped into neutral and rolled into the cruiser.

Collet was charged with driving under the influence and placed in the Lawrence County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Wolfe was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and permitting a DUI.
