2 arrested on drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A pair of traffic stops ended with two men spending the weekend in jail on separate drug charges.

According to Youngstown police, Justin Magness, 33, of East Palestine, was pulled over on Volney Avenue just before 5 p.m. Saturday for a driving violation.

Police searched the vehicle and found two bags of cocaine in the glove compartment.

Magness was charged with drug possession and is due in court on Monday.

About two hours earlier, police arrested Marc Ellington,31, of Youngstown on North Belle Vista after he drove through a stop sign.

Officers searched his vehicle and found a bag of crack cocaine and two bags of marijuana.

Ellington is also due in court on Monday.
